Understanding and being compliant with our data licences

• The Open Food Facts database is available under the Open Database License.
• The individual contents of the database are available under the Database Contents License.
• Product images are available under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license. They may contain graphical elements subject to copyright or other rights that may, in some cases, be reproduced (quotation rights or fair use).

• Please read the Terms and conditions of use and reuse before reusing the data.
• Please read our simple summary of the OdBL and our licence on the wiki
• Please read our attribution guidelines (how to) on the wiki
• Please check that your app is not in the non-compliance shamelist. If so, please get in touch at reuse@openfoodfacts.org or on the Slack so that we can fix it together.
• Please read the API FAQ, which includes legal questions as well. If your question is not answered, please send it to reuse@openfoodfacts.org

• We like learning what the Open Food Facts data is used for. It is not mandatory, but we would appreciate it if you would tell us about your use case so that we can share them with the Open Food Facts community.
